Humility practices the compassion of listening…even to a
fool…and if his comments are not hurting anyone ...allowing him to walk away not
once again carrying the condemnation that usually follows his comments...
Humility is not easily practiced nor easily kept… for pride
constantly looks for an opportunity to stamp
on it and crush it
into the ground.
But seek it
consistently for without it there is the chance you will become a slave to your
pride. And in so doing, become a consummate bore and with a prickly
presence.
Now
that you have heard these stories, and perhaps understand better the question I
put before you a few phrases ago (last tuesday)... allow
me to ask you the question again
And can
you claim with Nelson Mandela, Free at last!
Free from the strangling, horrific hold that arrogance
and pride may have had upon your life.
Are
you now ready to turn your life over to new management and
through Christ, our Lord and Savior, practice the love and concern He so often
taught?
If you
have already...then you know what COMPLETE COMMITMENT
to your faith is all about...
