I have designed this WORRY TABLE to aid and abet you and any other reader on how not to waste worry. You may disagree with the percentages but I do believe they are reasonable in an unreasonable way.
These suggestions are worth their weight in a ton of ulcers, high blood pressure attacks, migraine headaches, muscle spasms and several other psychological manifestations.
But it is a shame to waste perfectly good worry because of poor organization.
Spend 42% of your time worrying about things that you cannot do anything about.
28% about a bad decision made in the past and about which you can no longer do anything.
21% about serious illnesses which may never materialize.
7% worrying about your wife, or husband, children or friends who usually have the necessary amount of common sense to take reasonably good care of themselves.
The final 2% of your quotient spend worrying about things that you might actually possibly do something about…that is if you aren’t too worn out from the other 98% of worrying.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).

A quote from Sundays (Oct 31st ) series on Pain and Problems
“There is a portion of the book of Isaiah that is referred to by theologians as “The Little Book of Comfort.”
It begins with chapter 40 and continues through chapter 55
And the following poem is not just food for thought…it is a feast if you sit down and sup long enough.
“I shall know why – when Time is over –
And I have ceased to wonder why-
Christ will explain each separate anguish
In the fair school room of the sky.”
That is what I am saying; that life is a schoolroom…
