ACTION
“The mental of physical process of movement and change”
“…Therefore, prepare your minds for action, be self-controlled…”
THE TREMENDOUS TWELVE...PLUS ONE
There are definitely positive practices that can make life better rather than just talking about it. Don’t worry about some unknown future, instead work to solve problems that actually exist. The great French philosopher Montaigne said, “My life has been full of terrible misfortunes most of which never happened.”
And speaking of what is going on in your mind…
The following thoughts are guaranteed to make you seem younger and feel younger.
1. Find someone to love
Giving love really is as important as receiving it. A parent. A child. A pet to pamer. A neighbor in need.
A friend. And don’t just find a friend, be one…
And wherever or whoever…all relationship would be better if handled with an open hand rather than a taking paw.
2. Find something to look forward to
Weight to lose, a book to read, music to listen to, a tree to prune, some goal to achieve. A baseball or football game to go to. A new food to sample, a new skill to learn, a new idea to pursue.
And don’t just set goals, rather have a mission. Otherwise, you may become like the Japan ese Kamakazi pilot in World Wa r II, who flew 173 missions.
3. Find a challenge
Preferably more than one. Don’t look for the easy out. Don’t seek only people who agree with you. Don’t be like Hume in Paris who wrote of eating nothing but ambrosia, drinking nothing but nectar, trodding on nothing but flowers, brea thing nothing but perfume – and being totally bored.
Remember that life is like a see saw, a lot of ups and downs. It is what makes a see saw interesting. It is what makes life interesting.
4. Share yourself
With friends, family and, yes, even strangers, share that wonderful complex creation called you. Try to start every hello with a smile. Don’t bottle up your enthusiasms. Give vent to your hopes. Run the fla gs of your dreams up a long line of fla gpoles. You’ll be amazed at how often even a strangers will salute.

“I have always been intrigued by a question God put to Adam, “Where are you?” Why did He ask that? What is the meaning behind this? It wasn’t a geographical question, for certainly God knew the answer to that one.

“Do you enjoy visiting friends? More than likely you’re thinking, Preacher, of course, I do.
“Do you enjoy visiting friends? More than likely you’re thinking, Preacher, of course, I do.
Now let me ask the other side of the coin - Do you enjoy visiting enemies? No?
Well, I know you must enjoy visiting at least one enemy because, like myself, you probably visit this one quite often
Some visit anger seldom
